The On-Ramp CrossFit Foundations course is a pre-requisite for advancing to our CrossFit classes.
On Ramp teaches you the 9 foundational CrossFit movements: air squat, front squat, overhead squat, shoulder press, push press, push jerk, deadlift, sumo-deadlift high pull and medicine ball clean. These make up the bulk of technical movements that create our sport. We, also, affectively teach you other technical skills including kettlebell swings, kipping pull-ups, rowing, and much more. On Ramp is an integral part of the getting-started process when joining a CrossFit gym. You want to invest in properly learning these movements before performing intense CrossFit workouts.
A typical On Ramp class will include the following:
- short warm-up
- past skill review: improving skills learned from previous sessions
- techniques to improve flexibility
- new skill training: each session you’ll learn a new skill
- a workout encompassing the new skills learned that day
Price is $160 per participant for group classes.
Attendance policy: If you miss too many classes and we don’t feel you are prepared for group CrossFit classes, we will ask for additional, private training and fees will apply with our current private training rates. We will not refund for missed classes, nor transfer credits towards another On Ramp.
Membership After On Ramp: If your On Ramp is completed mid-month, you are charged for the number of classes you will have attended between that day and the last day of the month. Your first automatic payment for membership is on the 1st of the month. Please review the Membership Policies under the Membership tab to learn about stopping or changing your membership contract.
Have special needs or limited schedule?
Private Training is available to clients who have special training needs or cannot attend most On Ramp classes. Our current rate is $50/hour. After completing the On-Ramp CrossFit Foundations Course, you are ready to advance to our general group classes.
